The first Bridging Session will be a knowledge-sharing opportunity for transparency groups working in the natural resource field and technology experts who provide tools for collecting, displaying and distributing transparency information.

Pre-event prep for session participants
Participating groups are invited to engage in the following activities in the lead up to our November Bridging Session:
- Participate on a discussion list where topics including the agenda, event outcomes, and related needs and questions are raised and discussed
- Read the project blog to stay informed of goings-on prior to the event, and comment where appropriate;
- Make at least one post on the blog, introducing themselves and the work they do;
- Work 1-on-1 with the Bridging Session organizers to assess their current organizational capacities and technology status, and formulate organization-specific goals and areas of focus for the session;
- Participate in webinars and other pre-event learning efforts in order to maximize the impact of time spent at the Bridging Session.
